KIDS ICED BISCUITS

use about 300 grams basic biscuit mix (recipe a couple of posts back)

preheat oven to 180c
line 2 trays with baking paper

If you want to cut shapes in this dough, it will need to be frozen for 1/2 hour.

It needs to be worked with quickly.

Roll out reasonably thick between 2 sheets baking paper and cut with cookie cutters. Repeat till used.

Otherwise, roll into walnut sized balls and slightly flatten with a fork.

cook approx 15 minutes till just brown.

cool and ice.

ICING

1 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 teaspoons strawberry essence
1 teaspoon butter
1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
2 drops green food colouring

mix all together, using enough milk to make a spreadable consistency and spoon on to biscuits.

decorate with 100's and 1000's
