RUSTIC APPLE CINNAMON PIE.
500 - 600 grams basic biscuit mix
800 grams tin unsweetened pie apples
3 heaped tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon( or less according to taste)
preheat oven to 180 c
lightly grease large pie dish.
using 300 grams biscuit mix, press into bottom and sides of pie dish.
in a small bowl, mix apples, cinnamon and sugar.
pour apple mix into pie dish, evenly covering biscuit mix.
roughly cover top of apples with rest of biscuit mix, pressing dough between palms to flatten out a bit.
cook 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown.
cool.
serve with cream or icecream
