1 cup (227 grams) butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup banana, mashed
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla.
1 cup chocolate chips
3 3/4 cups self raising flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
extra chocolate chips

preheat oven to 180 c.
line trays with baking paper

with an electric mixer, cream butter and sugars.

add egg, vanilla and banana.

add the flour and salt in 2 batches, mixing till well combined. stir in choc chips.

Roll dough into walnut sized balls.

place 12 to a tray and flatten slightly with a fork dipped lightly in flour.

cook 12 mins or until lightly brown.

while the cookies are still hot, dot the top of each cookie with some of the extra chocolate chips and leave to cool.
