226 grams butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup banana, mashed
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla.

3 3/4 cups self raising flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

6 heaped tablespoon sugar
3-4 heaped teaspoons cinnamon

preheat oven to 180 c.
line trays with baking paper

with an electric mixer, cream butter and sugars.

add egg, vanilla and banana.

add all rest of the the dry ingredients, in 2 batches, mixing till well combined.

Roll into walnut sized balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.

place 12 to a tray and flatten slightly with a fork.

cook 12 mins or until lightly brown.
