CHICKEN WITH BROWN SUGAR AND GARLIC

9 chicken thigh cutlets
5 tablespoons butter
8 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper to taste

preheat oven to 180 c

in an oven proof pan, on stove top, melt 3 tablespoons of the butter.

brown the chicken both sides and remove from pan.

add the other 2 tablespoons of butter and saute garlic for a minute. stir in brown sugar, honey, herbs and salt and pepper.

add chicken back to the pan, place in oven and roast till chicken is cooked through.
