3 cups self raising flour
4 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
this makes approx. 48
in a large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat all ingredients together until smooth.
transfer to a jug.
heat a griddle or frypan on medium heat.
lightly spray with oil or rub with butter.
pour about a tablespoon or so of mix on to griddle, repeating till full, but leaving enough room to be able to flip them.
when bubbles form on top of mix , flip over and cook other side. if cooking too fast, adjust heat. should be evenly browned.
if mixture becomes too thick add a little more milk.
spread with jam and cream or anything you like.
